🏛️ Welcome to the Server — How It All Works

This server runs a full player-driven economy and government. You earn money by playing, pay taxes set by an elected Prime Minister, buy and lease land, run shops, and vote in real elections. Here's your first day.

💵 Your money

• You start with a one-time government start check the first time you ever join — it's already in your balance.
• Earn more by mining, farming, fishing, and killing mobs — each pays out automatically (after income tax).
• Short on cash? Claim daily welfare with /hideoutia welfare claim — available once per day while your balance is under the threshold. /hideoutia welfare status shows the amount and whether you can claim.

🗳️ Get political

• Join a party: /hideoutia party list then /hideoutia party join <party> — first member of an empty party automatically becomes its leader.
• Vote for Prime Minister: an election starts the 1st of every month, you get 72 hours to vote with /hideoutia vote <candidate>. The winner takes power on the 5th.
• The PM sets all tax rates and spends the government's money — your vote decides who holds the wallet.

🏠 Get land

1. Stand at one corner of the area you want: /hideoutia plot pos1
2. Stand at the opposite corner (height matters — plots are 3D!): /hideoutia plot pos2
3. Submit it: /hideoutia plot request
4. The PM reviews and sets a price. You'll get a letter when it's approved — then stand in the plot and /hideoutia plot buy.

✉️ Check your mail

You'll get letters about elections, land, and payments. /hideoutia mail list to see your inbox, /hideoutia mail read <id> to read.

🪪 Your citizen profile

/hideoutia citizen shows your civic record — your party, how much tax you've paid, how many elections you've voted in, and the plots you own. /hideoutia citizen <player> looks anyone up (it's public).
