What is Hideoutia?

Hideoutia isn't just survival — it's a living country:

🗳️ You elect the government. Every month the server votes for a Prime Minister from among the party leaders. The PM sets every tax rate and spends the national treasury. Don't like them? Join the petition for a snap election and bring the government down early.

💰 You earn a living. Mining, farming, fishing, and hunting all pay real money — taxed, of course. Broke? There's daily welfare. Brand new? Your start check is already in your account.

🪧 You run businesses. Chest-and-sign shops trade anything with anyone, even while you're offline.

🌍 You own land. Claim wilderness (small claims approve instantly!), build, then sell it, lease it out, or carve your tower into apartments and become a landlord. Tenants are protected by law — rent is automatic, and so is eviction.

✉️ You stay informed. In-game mail delivers election news, land decisions, rent receipts, and letters from other citizens.

📜 The Laws of Hideoutia

1. 🚫 No cheating. No hacked clients, X-ray, dupes, macros, or exploiting bugs. Found a bug or money exploit? Report it to staff — using it gets you banned.

2. 🗳️ One citizen, one vote. No alt accounts — ever. Alts that vote, demand snap elections, trigger party contests, or farm welfare/start checks are electoral & benefit fraud and earn a ban for all accounts involved.

3. 🏛️ Politics is gameplay — play it hard, play it clean. Scheming, campaigning, brutal taxes, party coups, and snap-election petitions are all part of the game. Personal harassment, threats, or taking grudges beyond the game are not.

4. 🌍 Respect the land. Claimed plots are protected by the server. Unclaimed wilderness builds are at your own risk — claim what you care about. Deliberately ruining the landscape around someone's plot to grief them is still grief.

5. 🤝 Deals inside the system are safe — outside, buyer beware. Shops, land sales, leases, and trust are enforced by the server and can't be scammed. Hand-trades and verbal promises are your own gamble — staff won't refund trust.

6. 💬 Keep chat decent. No slurs, hate, harassment, spam, or advertising. Banter and political mudslinging are fine; cruelty isn't.

7. 💵 No real-money trading. In-game money, land, items, and offices stay in the game. Buying or selling any of it for real money = ban.

8. ⚖️ Government ≠ staff. The Prime Minister is a player, not a moderator. They can tax you into the dirt and that's politics — but PM powers used to break these rules (or aid rule-breakers) get treated like any other offence.

9. 🛡️ Staff have the final word. Rules can't cover everything; staff rulings on the spirit of the rules are final. Appeals in 🎫 tickets, not in public chat.
