🌍 Land

All land starts owned by the government. You request a plot, the PM prices it, you buy it — then it's yours to build on, sell, lease out, or carve into apartments. Small wilderness claims are approved instantly — no waiting on the PM.

Getting your first plot

1. Stand at one corner: /hideoutia plot pos1
2. Stand at the opposite corner: /hideoutia plot pos2 (Or just make a WorldEdit selection with //wand — /hideoutia plot request uses it automatically if you have one.) ⚠️ Plots are fully 3D — your two corners set the height too. Claim only the floors you need; plots can stack on top of each other (that's how apartment buildings work).
3. /hideoutia plot request — submits your claim
4. Small and in the clear? A modest claim (by default at most 100 × 100 wide and 50 tall) that doesn't touch any protected region is auto-approved on the spot and listed for sale at a fixed per-block price. You get a letter with the price.
5. Bigger or sensitive? Anything over the size limit or overlapping a protected region goes to the PM's queue instead — they inspect it (they can teleport to it and see its glowing outline) and either approve it with a price or reject it. You get a letter either way.
6. Either way, to take ownership stand in the plot and run /hideoutia plot buy — the full price goes to the treasury, and the plot (a WorldGuard region) is yours

Selling & leasing your land

Stand in your plot:

• /hideoutia plot sell <price> — list it for sale. Any player standing in it can /hideoutia plot buy (or click the plot sign). You receive the price minus land-sale tax.
• /hideoutia plot lease <price> [days] — list it for rent. A tenant pays every period automatically; you receive rent minus land-lease tax. If they can't pay, they're auto-evicted and the plot relists.
• /hideoutia plot unlist — take it off the market
• /hideoutia plot evict — end a tenancy yourself
• Put up a sign with [Plot] on line 1 inside your plot — or anywhere outside it with the plot id on line 2 (hallway signs for your flats!) — it shows the live status (FOR SALE / FOR LEASE / owner) and buyers/tenants can click it. Two clicks within 10 seconds confirms a purchase, no fat-finger buys.

Tenant protection 🏠: leased land cannot be sold — not by the owner, not by the PM (reclaim). The tenancy must end first (eviction or missed rent). Buyers can never inherit your tenant.

Deleting your plot 🔥

Done with a plot and don't want to sell it? Stand in it and run /hideoutia plot delete — it returns the land to wilderness, free for anyone to claim again.

• Two-click confirm: the first /hideoutia plot delete warns you; run it again within 10 seconds to commit. No fat-finger wipes.
• Forfeiture, not a sale: there's no refund — you're giving the land back, not selling it.
• Guards: you can't delete a plot with a sitting tenant (evict first) or one that still has sub-plots (dissolve those first). A plot merely listed for sale or lease deletes fine — the listing just goes with it.
• The plot's sign turns inert when the plot is gone; break the leftover sign block yourself.
• Government plots: only the PM may delete a government-owned plot.

Apartments — subdivision 🏢

Own a building? Carve it into units:

• Mark two corners inside your plot (pos1/pos2), then /hideoutia plot subdivide — creates a sub-plot you can sell or lease independently. One floor, one flat, one shop unit — your call.
• Sub-plots can't overlap each other and must fit fully inside the parent.
• Selling a sub-plot is permanent — that floor is theirs forever. Lease if you want it back someday.
• You can't sell or lose the parent building while sub-plot tenants live there.
• /hideoutia plot dissolve — remove an empty sub-plot you own.

Letting friends build — trust 🤝

Stand in your plot:

• /hideoutia plot trust <player> — they can build there
• /hideoutia plot untrust <player> — revoked
• /hideoutia plot trusted — who has access (and who granted it)

The fine print:

• Tenants can trust their own guests on a plot they lease — but those guests lose access when the lease ends. People the owner trusted stay.
• Selling a plot clears all trust — new owner, fresh start.
• Trust on your building's parent plot does not open up sub-plots — each unit has its own list.

State housing 🏛️

The government can lease its own land out cheap (full rent goes to the treasury). State housing can never be bought — unless the government deliberately puts it up for sale, which requires evicting any tenant first. Watch the politics.
